Cuando el color respira
Menchu Lamas
September 8 – November 12, 2022
This exhibition presents a selection of significant works, current proposals and representative paintings from previous stages, large formats and medium sized compositions where geometry vibrates and establishes intense fields of color, dragging of the medium through the surface. A hybridization between abstract and figurative means, a tactile dimension of the perceptual path were textures and visual language merge together. Enigmatic beings, totemic animals, corporal actions and prints, ovals and circles, shades of caryatids that cut themselves off the wall. "When color breathes, painting vibrates and shapes its body". - ML
